RAG raids are simple. Get a group of students, get some buckets, and go out onto the city streets to collect as much money as possible. Raids take place all the time, from ones right on your doorstep in Leeds, and other nearby cities, to other exciting places such as London, Edinburgh and hopefully a new St. Patrick’s day raid in Dublin this year.
Fancy dress is not a must, but it’ll definitely improve your collections. We have raids that are just the Leeds RAG team and also other Mega Raids in which RAG’s from all over the country come together, so it’s a great opportunity to meet new people, explore a new city, raise loads of cash… and the post raid socials always get pretty messy!
We are currently in the process of organising Raids for this term. They are a great way to spend your Saturday, acting stupid, raising money and meeting new people so why not get a group of friends together and give it a go!
