More Info
Challenge yourself to the experience of a lifetime and climb Mt Kilimanjaro – the world’s highest freestanding mountain.
The trek will take you through an array of terrains – enchanted jungles, barren expanses, and near vertical scrambles. As you climb you break through the clouds ensuring the most stunning sunsets you’ll ever experience for every night after.
Whilst this is a physical challenge it is achievable by anyone as the true test is mental. The way to reach the top is through high spirits and determination – as the final ascent takes place at night. After your head hits the pillow (or sleeping mat) at 8pm you’ll be awaken at 11pm. Yes pm.
The team will begin climbing at midnight and after trekking with only head torches to light the way you get the opportunity to reach the summit in time for the ultimate sunrise. The feelings you have as you stand at the highest point in Africa is indescribable – you’ll just have to take on the challenge and find out for yourself!!
Once back on flat land you can treat yourself after your exhausting efforts by exploring incredible destinations in East Africa – like a safari’s in the Serengetti and a well deserved relax on white sand beaches of paradise in Zanzibar.
