About The Team


RAG’s biggest events couldn’t happen without the work of our Support Team. In the past their work has been vital to what we do and so we also like to give little RAG-shaped-perks to them when we can.


It’s your chance to be a part of organising some of the Union’s highlights of the year – like the Fashion Show – or a challenge you would never thought you’d complete – like Bike to Berlin!


We’re currently looking for our 2011/12 Support Team members for the following events:

Bike to Berlin and Tour To France

Cycling to Berlin and France is hard enough but imagine having to pitch your tent and cook your own meals each night. No thanks! We need enthusiastic individuals with a talent for driving to race ahead of the pack each day in the Union’s van. Once you’ve pitched a few tents and made a couple of meals, the rest of the time is yours. Being in the Support Team basically means a roadtrip across Europe – you get to spend more time at the sites, you still get to meet over 80 new people… and your legs won’t hurt!


You’ll need to pass the MIDAS  (Minibus Driving Assessment Scheme) Test, but we’ll pay for that, and it’s great to have in case anything ever crops up in the future. If you’re interested, give Lynette (Challenges Manager) an email on challenges@leedsrag.org.uk
